ALGO 2022 is an in-person conference and authors of accepted papers are expected to present their work on-site. If there are circumstances making it impossible to present a paper on-site, we require one author to do a virtual live presentation and answer questions afterwards. We also require a video of the talk as backup in case of internet problems. Additionally, it will be possible to livestream all talks for free.
ESA and EATCS membership
ESA 2022 is organized in cooperation with EATCS, the European Association for Theoretical Computer Science. If you plan to take part in ESA, you will need to be a member of the EATCS. If you are not yet a member, please see this page for instructions on how to join. You will need to enter your EATCS membership ID during the registration.
If you recently purchased an EATCS membership as part of another conference registration, and you have not yet received your new EATCS member ID, you can leave the EATCS member field empty and explain it in the “Note” field in the registration form. We will contact you by email if we need additional information.
If you do not plan to take part in ESA, but you are coming to ALGO only for the other conferences (ALGOCLOUD, ALGOSENSORS, ATMOS, IPEC, WABI, and/or WAOA), you do not need to be an EATCS member.
Registration fees
We require one registration fee (student or regular, full or half, not virtual) per accepted paper. You may choose between a full fee and a half fee.
The full fee includes attendance on all days of ALGO and the conference dinner on Tuesday. The half fee allows you to either participate from Monday to Wednesday or from Wednesday to Friday and does not include the conference dinner on Tuesday. During registration you will have to choose if you want to attend the first or the second half. If you want to take part in the conference dinner while only paying half fee, you can select the conference dinner for 100€ extra. The following fees are valid until 14 August:

Late Registration is possible after 14 August, but costs 100€ extra.
Students will have to upload a proof of their student status (e.g. a photo of their student ID or an enrollment certificate). Travel and accommodation is not included in the fee. Late Registration is possible until the last the day of the conference. Additional dinner tickets for guests are available upon request before the event if space permits.
