See <a href=\"https:\/\/ebilet.intercity.pl\/\">https:\/\/ebilet.intercity.pl\/<\/a> for more destinations and booking information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">By Plane<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-link-color wp-elements-70434159fc9040855dbfa9df25374efb\">There are two airports in Warsaw: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lotnisko-chopina.pl\/en\/index.html\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.lotnisko-chopina.pl\/en\/index.html\">Warsaw Chopin Airport<\/a> inside the city and <a href=\"https:\/\/en.modlinairport.pl\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.lotnisko-chopina.pl\/en\/index.html\">Warsaw Modlin Airport<\/a> a little to the North of the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Using Public Transport<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>Most of the public transport in Warsaw is unified &#8211; one can use busses, trams and subway using the same tickets &#8211; without a need to validate the ticket for the second time or using a second one in the case of most commonly used timed tickets (in case of subway gates one just inserts the already validated ticket).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-41a0aa547c37cd0de4371391dd9a19ed\">Note that the connection by tram with the conference venue is under reconstruction. The last stop is Plac Narutowicza. The faculty can be reached from there by foot or by bus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-link-color wp-elements-f652b56bf336bedd9e7bc64b354417d2\">A large variety of tickets is available &#8211; from 20 minute to 3 day see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wtp.waw.pl\/en\/ticket-tariff\/\">Warsaw Public Transport webpage<\/a> for details. Note that the area of Warsaw is divided into two zones, with zone 1 spanning through most of the urban part, hence tickets for zone 2 are only needed to access the surrounding areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skm.warszawa.pl\/en\/\">City Train system<\/a> is available, it is not integrated with the other means of transportation (one needs to buy a separate, route dependent ticket) however. It also does not have a stop near the conference venue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Uber\/Bolt are another cheap options for commuting in Warsaw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Visa Invitation Letter<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-link-color wp-elements-5c257ad2bd4663d567e462689810be82\">To receive a visa invitation letter you should send an email to <a href=\"mailto:algo2025@mimuw.edu.pl\">algo2025@mimuw.edu.pl<\/a> titled &#8220;ALGO Invitation Request&#8221;. The mail must include your personal information: name and surname as shown in your passport, passport number, nationality, full information about the presented article (conference, authors, title).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Other Practical Information<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Time zone<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>In September, the Warsaw observes Central European Summer Time (UTC+2).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Currency<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>Poland uses the Z\u0142oty (PLN) currency. Large majority of shops accept both cash and credit cards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Electricity<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>In Poland, we use type C and type F plugs. The voltage is 230 V and the standard frequency is 50 Hz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tap water<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>The tap water is safe to drink.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tipping<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>Tax and service are included in the price, so it is not required (but of course still appreciated) to give tips. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Safety<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>Warsaw is a relatively safe city. Normal precautions apply: always watch your belongings (especially in crowded or touristy areas) and avoid walking alone at night in quiet areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Language<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>The official language of Poland is Polish. However, most people can communicate in English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>WIFI<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Eduroam<\/em> is available at the Univeristy of Warsaw.
