Venue
ALGO 2025 will be held at Faculty of Physics at the University of Warsaw, which is located in the hearth of the Ochota Campus of the University of Warsaw.
Arrival
By Train
There are high speed rail connections to many major European cities, including but not limited to Berlin, Prague, Bratislava, Vienna, Vilnius. See https://ebilet.intercity.pl/ for more destinations and booking information.
By Plane
There are two airports in Warsaw: Warsaw Chopin Airport inside the city and Warsaw Modlin Airport a little to the North of the city.
Using Public Transport
Most of the public transport in Warsaw is unified – one can use busses, trams and subway using the same tickets – without a need to validate the ticket for the second time or using a second one in the case of most commonly used timed tickets (in case of subway gates one just inserts the already validated ticket).
A large variety of tickets is available – from 20 minute to 3 day see Warsaw Public Transport webpage for details. Note that the area of Warsaw is divided into two zones, with zone 1 spanning through most of the urban part, hence tickets for zone 2 are only needed to access the surrounding areas.
Additionally City Train system is available, it is not integrated with the other means of transportation (one needs to buy a separate, route dependent ticket) however. It also does not have a stop near the conference venue.
